The first edition of MARINA BAIA CITY OF LUANDA INTERNATIONAL HALF - PDF document

The first edition of MARINA BAIA CITY OF LUANDA INTERNATIONAL HALF MARATHON takes place on the 1st of September 2013. 30 international athletes will be present such as the 10,000 METERS VICE WORLD CHAMPION (IBRAHIM JEILANI – ETHIOPIA) OF MOSCOW 2013 and the 2013 HALF MARATHON VICE WORLD CHAMPION (DERESA CHINSA – ETHIOPIA). Be part of the 3.000 participants for competing in one of the two races: 21.097,5 km for chasing the premium of USD 100,000 USD in case you beat the half marathon world record or 5 km for those who run for their pleasure and fitness . The race will start from the Marginal (Ministry of Interior) passing by the island, the Luanda port and will end to Marginal (Events Plaza).

Before the race, all participants will receive a kit with a t- shirt, a bib number containing a timing electronic chip, a bag, a hat and after the race, a medal. The inscription price is 2.000kz for Half Marathon and 1.000kz for the Mini Marathon (5km). The inscription can be done until 25 August at CASA DO DESPORTISTA, ILHA DO CABO or at the INFORMATION TENT OF LUANDA BAY.
