WHAT IS THE SUN
- The sun is a burning ball of
- gas. The sun is also a
medium sized star that is bigger than earth,you could fit more than one hundred earths inside it

HOW DOES THE SUN MOVE
- The sun moves in an orbit on its axis. For the sun to
- rbit all the way around it takes 24 hours. The sun
does NOT orbit, but it does rotate.

- You'd think that the sun orbits around the earth but it
doesn't. The earth orbits around the sun. Earth rotates while it's orbiting. Now that you know the truth go share it.

- Seasons happen while the earth orbits around the sun.
As it orbits it rotates. When part of the earth is closest to the sun it's summer, and the other side is winter

- For the earth to rotate all the way around on its axis it
takes 24 hours (a day). For earth to orbit all the way around the sun it takes 365 (a year).
