What is The Dream Center? MISSION STATEMENT

The Dream Center exists to encourage, to educate and to empower people in need through the love of Jesus Christ. Everything we do as an organization is intended to provide a hand UP instead of a hand out.

• Educate and empower those in need to improve their lives.
• Promote spiritual growth by sharing the truth of scripture in love.
• Provide opportunities for serving.
• Collaborate with like-minded organizations to reduce duplication of services.

progression:

• Give 1x and you elicit appreciation.
• Give 2x and you create anticipation.
• Give 3x and you create expectation.
• Give 4x and it becomes entitlement.
• Give 5x and you establish dependency

2013- 3 schools referred 119 families completed program 2015- 21 schools referred 303 families completed program 100% said they would not return to one way assistance at Christmas.

The Opportunity Village

• The first homeless shelter program in Pickens County.
• Will require Dream Dollars as payment to be in the program.
• Will be built on current site and will include 20 tiny house units

and 10 transitional houses.

• Clients will be required to participate in the Dream Center

program which is focused on getting healthy including mind, body and spirit and following a step by step action plan towards self-sufficiency.
