InControl AS descends from the Instrumentation & Control division of Amitec AS (former FK Smith AS/Sandven Elektro AS/Ferrotron AS). What is InTune

• InTune is the service provided by InControl to

verify and calibrate the anchor-line tension readings on semisubmersible rigs, FPSOs and other vessels.

• The measurement principle is based on the

identification of the frequency of vibrations produced in a limited segment of the anchor- line at different loads.

• Tension is determined using the physical

relationship between three parameters of the line segment: length, relative weight (weight per unit length) and frequency of vibrations.

• Over the years InControl AS has delivered

InTune anchor-line tension calibration service to many companies and installations.
