Construction Timing

  • Minimize construction timeframe
  • Double the work effort by splitting project into two

separate projects done at the same time.

  • Use two contracts that will be separately managed.
  • Focus on smaller area of work; 4 blocks in each

project area will be under construction at a time.

  • Allow contractor full access in work zone. (No traffic

in the work zone; accommodations made for deliveries, etc.)
