  7. (8/3/20) The School Board’s Decision: ★ The hybrid model of instruction will be implemented. Hybrid model of instruction includes: ● In-person learning to the greatest extent possible. ● Wednesday’s would provide for remote learning, planning, support services and a deep clean. ● Student days of attendance may be split and the district is considering the possibility of a slightly shortened day, with a 1:30 dismissal. If this model of instruction does not fit the needs of your family: ● A fully online program for students in grades K-12 will be offered in partnership with Vermont Virtual Learning Collaborative (VTVLC) to prioritize student health, family health, and family preference.

  8. Understanding ReOpening ★ Our schools will use a family-based, split attendance model to ReOpen. Sample: 1 st Cohort attends school Monday and Thursday in the ReOpening Plan. 2 nd Cohort attends school Tuesday and Friday in the ReOpening Plan. Wednesday- 100% remote learning for all students (Deep Clean of School) ★ We believe it is in our best interest to build positive momentum toward more in-person instructional opportunities.
