UPCOMING & ONGOING CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES

• Contractor completed concrete

pavement replacement of the three inside southbound I-95 lanes from NW 29 Street to south of NW 20 Street on Sunday, May 3.

• Contractor implemented continuous

lane closures on northbound I-95 to complete the concrete pavement replacement of the lanes adjacent to the median from NW 20 Street to NW 29 Street.

ONGOING LANE CLOSURES THREE MONTH LOOK AHEAD

ANTICIPATED LANE CLOSURES ON THE I-95 CORRIDOR:

• Nighttime lane/ramp closure along I-95 between NW 8 Street and NW

29 Street

• Closure hours have been adjusted based on current traffic

conditions from 8 p.m. until 8 a.m.

• Traffic shifted on westbound SR

836 from the Miami River to east

• f NW 17 Avenue to the left side
• f the roadway
• Traffic shifted on eastbound SR

836 from NW 17 Avenue to the Miami River to the right side of the roadway

• Demolition of median area on

SR 836 has started at NW 12 Avenue and will be moving to the west over the Miami River

• Work started in the east over

court parking area and moving to the west

• Demolition work currently taking

place during the day with a single westbound lane closure

• Contractor implemented a

continuous closure of the outside eastbound SR 836 lane to expedite the replacement of the concrete pavement with asphalt pavement

• Contractor continues Auger Cast

Pile (ACP) testing program on SR 836 for the foundations of the new double decked section

• Production ACP piles expected to

begin in July 2020

The westbound I-395 ramp to northbound I-95 has been reduced from two lanes to one lane The reduction in lanes is necessary to reconstruct the section of I-95 where the eastbound SR 836 ramp and westbound I-395 ramp join I-95 The lane reduction is expected to be in place for approximately 18 months
