Summary of Primary ETAT Reviewer Concerns
Social/Cultural Resources
- Potential right-of-way acquisition of commercial, residential, or recreation properties
- Potential to impact parks and historic properties, considered Section 4(f) resources
Natural Resources
- Stormwater runoff has potential to impact surface waters and wetlands
- Gulf Islands National Seashore is a Florida Outstanding Water requiring high protection
- Valuable habitats including estuarine salt marsh and sea grass beds in project area
- Multiple Federal and State threatened and endangered species potentially present and
protection measures must be in place for each
- Essential Fish Habitat within project area and will require coordination with NMFS
Physical Resources
- Potentially contaminated sites near the corridor must be evaluated
