APPEALS

The system has changed

• If absent from an exam in May, evidence (your prelim) can be

submitted for consideration for an award. This will only apply for exceptional circumstances. This system will not operate in August.

• There is now a system called the Post Results Service, where in

August if the school are of the view that a pupil has adversely underperformed eg. unexpectedly, the school can consider that a script be remarked by SQA. This service will not be available to all, only where it is felt there has been a discrepancy or very untoward result.
