  8. Our ur J Job ob Widening Participation are here to help applicants from FOCUS West and ACES schools in three ways: 1. Help individuals to make the correct choice of study 2. Ensure individuals have a personalised alternative route to HE 3. Improve the qua uali lity of the application to HE creative subjects.

  9. Limita tati tion ons Widening Participation staff are impartial and have no involvement in the outcome of applications. Widening Participation staff cannot: 1. Influence the outcome of applications (we can only provide references) 2. Guarantee interview or acceptance at GSA 3. Explain why applicants have been unsuccessful in their application.

Joe has benefitted from this as it has provided him with a greater insight into studying at Art School, which he now feels prepared for. Joe Bloggs is also participating in the Top-Up programme.”

If an appeal is successful and the pupils grades then meet the conditions of the offer, the place will become unconditional.

  26. OUTCOMES Unsu succe ccessf ssful If your pupil is unsuccessful in their application to GSA, it is important that they request feedback on their application. This is done by e-mailing registry@gsa.ac.uk and asking for feedback. This will provide the pupil with the scores at Stage 1 and Stage 2 of their application.
