“Enacting Metaphor in Everyday Life” (24 attendees)

• RaAM-sponsored PhD event (smørrebrød) and

seminar dinner

Update 2018 conference – Hong Kong

• Approx. 200 participants from 40 countries/regions,

90 from Asia

• 4 plenary speakers, 4 workshops, 110 papers, 8

posters, 5 colloquia

• 14 applications for bursaries: 8 funded by RaAM + 3

fee waivers offered by LOC

• Sponsoring of a PhD event (dance!) with GBP 400
• PhD presentation prize sponsored by Benjamins
