  2. WHAT IS RPIA  The Romanian Photovoltaic Industry Association (“ RPIA ”) is a professional association set-up in April 2012, having the purpose to represent the interest of the PV industry into the fast RES-E growing market in Romania.

  3. PROSUMER LEGISLATION (LAW 184/2018; ORDER 226&227/2018)  legislation Prosumers are now defined - final clients which produce their own Primary electricity, but their specific/commercial activity it’s not generating electricity.  Prosumers with an installed capacity below 27 kW can sell their surplus to their suppliers, the later being obliged to acquire this electricity at the DAM weighted average price for the past year.  The invoice settlement will be done between the value of the energy produced and the value of the energy consumed from the grid.  For the electricity produced and used for self-consumption, prosumers are exempted to acquire GCs and they are exempted from physical obligations (VAT).  Secondary Secondary legislation issued by ANRE (end of December) legislation  Prosumers need to be certified by their DSOs, based on the installed equipment.  After obtaining the certification, prosumers can sign a contract with the supplier.

FINANCIAL PROGRAM FOR RESIDENTIAL CUSTOMERS – PROGRAM PRESENTATION  The Environment Fund Administration (AFM) has launched a financing program for installation of PV panels for residential customers  Estimated total budget for 2020 session : ~ 100 mil EUR  Financed amount/project: maximum of 20.000 RON, representing max 90% of eligible costs  Eligible cost components:  min 3kW PV systems (PV panels, invertor, structure, cables, comm., smart meter, electrical panel)  installation services, connection to the grid authorization & execution

  5. FINANCIAL PROGRAM FOR 2018 RESIDENTIAL CUSTOMERS st 20% by 2030 and at the same time to become a world leader in the production and adoption of electric cars. 6
