1. Install the Whooshh scanning system temporarily replacing the terminal end of the eastern-most AFF bypass pipe for one complete AFF year of operation (Spring through Fall). ❖ Installation plan and location designed to have zero impact on normal AFF operations. ❖ Installation during winter (AFF dry period) to minimize risk and impact on AFF operations. 2. Autonomously collect thousands of partially dewatered fish images representing the diversity of fish species migrating up the Columbia River. ❖ Image collection will occur as fish slide through the bypass path requiring no handling, fish delay, capture or containment. ❖ Scanning system autonomously senses fish sliding through and triggers camera shutter to capture images. 3. Collect fish counts on all fish that pass through the Whooshh scanning system. ❖ Scanning system autonomously senses fish sliding through and logs fish counts. ❖ Fish count data will be shared with Bonneville Fisheries Research Coordinators and/or Project Biologists and CRITFC.
