fairness – sharing the load • Every part of the Parish to take a fair share of the required new homes – i.e. all villages ( Highbrook, Sharpthorne and West Hoathly) and our rural locations • • Concentrating the vast majority of new homes at one large site puts unfair burden on the neighbouring community – construction, noise, traffic, loss of natural environment • Sharing the load will get the support of fair-minded people and ensure cohesion throughout the Parish • Minimising dramatic changes to the landscape Tuesday, 22 October 2013

brownfield A “brownfield” approach is supported by Government policy and hence the alternative plan supports prioritising building on land which has been previously developed / built upon in the past For our Parish’s status within High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty we believe we need to protect greenfield land Tuesday, 22 October 2013
