Project 12 - Haiti

  • Project 12 – Cabaret Home Construction was born

three days after the devastating earthquake which hit Haiti on January 12, 2010.

  • This is an umbrella project of Kreyol for Parents/Haiti
  • rganization, whose primary objective is to provide

assistance to the adopting parents of Haitian children.

  • During the adoption processes, Kreyol for Parents,

housed and care for 12 children whose biological parents homes were destroyed in the earthquake.

Project Status

As of August 29, 2010, KFPH has more than $16,000 US towards the building of the 12 homes. KPFH realized that they needed the assistance of a Christian technical mission that could they could partner with to bring this project to a closure – a project that would benefit the families and glorify God. The adopting families of the children and friends from all

  • ver have donated $18,000 USD to this project.

Unfortunately, donations are at a standstill and KFPH needs assistance to complete this project.

Information Linda is the mother of 1 child. Her daughter Berlinda was under the care of Granny Bin for 1 1/2 year and was adopted by a family in Spain who has contributed to her getting a new home.

My life has not been easy I have spent almost all of my teenage life living with aunts, brothers and sisters and the earthquake did not make it any easier. Granny Bin just brought happiness into my life when she told us about her plan to help.

I’m young with no plans for the future, the earthquake took everything I had. Knowing you have someone who thinks of you brings hope into your life. Granny Bin will always be in my heart for helping me. I will always thank God for that.

The earthquake took everything I owned, I almost didn’t have any hope at all to see your family lose everything your children not having a place to call home wow that is the worst thing that can happen to a Haitian in this country. Granny Bin told us that she with the help of God was going to start a project to build houses for us, that was good news to me and I thought to myself my kids will have a home again. Thank You God
