Originated in Barbados in 1930’s Requires no offjcial uniform (play what you’re comfortable in) Become the most exciting version of tennis and is played

by people from all social classes, age groups, gender, race, and religion

The CoURT

MUST be played on a fmat surface

Court is 21ft long x 10ft wide There are two 6ft governing lines at both ends. Net is 8in high and 12ft long Our courts’ playing area is painted green with white lines

Scoring

First player to reach 21 by a 2 point

advantage - Wins

Score is called at the start of the game and after each point. Player has 20 seconds to serve the ball,

AFTER the score is called

If opponent is not ready to receive serve, they must indicate by show of hand. Players must switch sides when the score reaches 10 in Single’s Elimination Tournaments

Ball strikes the net and fails to cross to the other side Ball bounces twice on the opponent’s side of the court If the ball hits the net during a serve
