  4. Taxpayer experience • Objectives: • Save time. • Assist with text entry where appropriate. • Provide users with a common portal for use across jurisdictions. 4

  5. Assessor experience • Objectives: • Reduce Assessor data entry. • Provide a reliable means of data submission. • Improve taxpayer satisfaction with filing process. 5

  6. Timeline • Late spring 2019: Release request for proposal(s). • Summer 2019: Select vendor(s). • Fall 2019 – Summer 2020: Development, testing, implementation. • Fall 2020: Outreach and training. 6

  7. 2021 Personal Property Filing • Taxpayers will have the option to file personal property forms online for the January 1, 2021 assessment date. • Filing deadline remains May 15, 2021. 7

  8. 2021 Personal Property Filing • After filing forms, data will be transferred to County Assessors. • Upon receipt of data, County Assessors will proceed with their regular data management procedures before rolling data to county auditors. 8

  9. Forms in scope • 102: Farmer’s tangible personal property. • 103-short: Business tangible personal property. • 103-long: Business tangible personal property. • 104: Business tangible personal property. 9
