A NEW TAKE ON AN OLD CLASSIC
Thank you…
For your patience and understanding as
we navigate this new world together
For your volunteer time as we try
something new
Take what you know about SFF
Just the FACTS
We will not be printing door hangers We will not be doing any in person activity on November 7 We will not be collecting food from door steps We will not be collecting clothing
What we will be doing…
We will have food only donation drop off locations on November 14, for
the community to drop food off at
Our Food Bank will also be receiving monetary donations We will be giving you a PDF flyer for email and content for social media to
deliver to the community
We will need your help in spreading the word
Tips for Success
Share this flyer more than once! Post it on all your social media accounts…more than once! Ask your COR to put this in their bulletins, social media accounts,
websites
Keep a tracker to identify who is doing it Build a campaign Record a Scout in uniform giving facts on hunger and how
you can donate to help (under 2 min video)
Service Hour Ideas
Scouts can make signs for the neighborhood Scouts can stand on busy street corners near drop off
sites with additional signage
Scouts can go to local businesses that are open and ask
to put the flyer in their window
If there is a local organization that is also accepting food
in your area, you may use the fillable pdf flyer to guide donors there (please count the food though)
