CASE COMPETITION DETAILS

Monday 10/20 Tuesday 10/21 Wednesday 10/22 Thursday 10/23 Friday 10/24 Fall Break

No Classes Fall Break No Classes Teams Receive Case via email by 9a.m. Teams submit slides by 9a.m Finalist alerted by email by 6:00 p.m. Case Day begins at 7:30am

Final round presentations will be held in the Krannert Auditorium before a panel of judges including representatives from Amazon, A.T. Kearney and Krannert Professors.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

  • Type of Case:
  • Operations/Supply Chain/Strategy Focused Case
  • All information can be found within the case and teams should not

seek outside information for the purpose of analysis

  • Judging
  • Two Rounds of Judging
  • All Teams participate in Round 1 (No oral presentation needed)
  • 4 Top teams will move to Round 2 and present to our corporate

sponsors on Friday, Oct. 24th

  • Slide Template:
  • Each team will be free to choose their own slide template
  • Final Presentations will be 20 minutes + 10 minutes for Q&A
  • Case Distribution:
  • Team Lead will receive case by 9a.m. Wednesday October 22nd
  • Team Lead to forward to rest of team
  • Teams will have 24 hours to create a slide deck and submit

TEAM REQUIREMENTS

  • Each Team must be composed of 4 members, 2 of which

NEED to be in their first year of their respective program/Undergraduate Krannert Seniors

  • STEM, MS(f), MS(a) etc. count as first year
  • Diverse Club representation is encouraged
  • Participants must be currently enrolled in Krannert’s

accredited MBA/MSHRM/STEM-focused MBA/MSF/MSA programs or be Seniors at Krannert (undergrad)

  • Each Team Member should participate in the preparation

and delivery of the presentation

second place:

Expectations

  • Intent of Amazon and A.T. Kearney sponsoring the KGSA Case

Competition is to maintain an environment of academic excellence within Krannert

  • All Teams choosing to participate, even if not selected for final

round, are expected to attend the final presentations on Friday Oct. 24th per request of Amazon and A.T. Kearney

  • Amazon and A.T.Kearney will have the discretion of inviting select

students to a private luncheon held after presentations

  • A Resume Book of participants will be created for our sponsors
  • Participating in the KGSA Case Competition and attending the Final

Presentations is LGL Credit approved.
