  3. Project Overview • Widen 3 segments of the existing 2 - lane portions of the F.E. Everett Turnpike between Nashua and Merrimack • Add a Northbound and Southbound travel lane • Evaluate 5 bridges for rehabilitation or replacement • Exits/Interchanges not being reconstructed • Toll modifications are not being considered as part of this project • Environmental study to include noise abatement evaluations for the corridor 3

  8. Middle Segment Merrimack • Exit 11 in Merrimack north to the southerly limits of Exit 13 (Bedford toll) interchange • Approximately 5.3 miles long • F.E. Everett Turnpike over Greeley Street 8 Exit 11 Merrimack/Greeley Street Bridge

  9. Middle Segment Merrimack • Baboosic Lake Road Bridge over the F.E. Everett Turnpike (“red list”) • Wire Road Bridge over the F.E. Everett Turnpike • F.E. Everett Turnpike over Baboosic Brook 9

  10. Middle Segment Merrimack • F.E. Turnpike over the Souhegan River (Merrill’s Marauders Bridge) • Recently completed (accommodates the third lane) • Widening will be Merrill’s Marauders Bridge necessary on the roadway approaches • Modification of the lane layout over the bridge 10
