*Tip: If you are picking up your child in car line, wait to come until right at 4:20. Don’t park in the grass—I have seen cars get stuck and accidents occur.

Every person on a secondary campus should have a student, staff,
ID cards for students along with lanyards and ID card holders that match the ID color corresponding to the student's graduation year.
Referrals: We abide by the Student Code of Conduct
KMS does not permit students with a referral to participate in extra-curricular activities, rewards or field trips during the quarter the referral was earned
Tardiness: * Tip: Teach your child that school is their workplace and they should conduct themselves like you would at your job. Conflict is natural, but they must develop strategies for dealing with it.

Dress Code: We follow the DCPS

No hats, bandanas, etc. Shorts/Skirts- Should be no
shorter than a 3x5 index card from the top of the knee
No spaghetti straps, crop tops,
sheer shirts, or shirts with guns, drugs, obscenities, etc.
Pants should be worn at waist Hoods may not be worn inside

1st = Verbal warning
2nd offense in day = confiscate phone & call home
3rd offense in a day = referral
Any refusal to surrender may lead to calling security and the phone ends up in the dean’s office. Chronic issues are handled through the Dean’s office.
3rd referral = Parent Pick Up
* Tip: You pay for your child’s phone. Don’t be afraid to set boundaries or take it away from him/her.
Students are not permitted to
have food delivered to the campus.
You are welcome to bring lunch
for your student and join them during their specific lunch time.

will be beautifying the campus, weather permitting. Students are allowed to ride the School’s activity bus if they don’t have transportation at 6pm.
If you have questions or concerns about the above date, please call the school at
220-1350 to speak to the Dean’s office.

When your student has not completed work, their teachers have the option to
refer them to the Zeroes aren’t permitted program.
At lunch, your student will get their food and they will work on the
assignment with the assistance of a school administrator.
This safety net is in place to prevent students from falling behind due to
incomplete assignments.
