  5. Mission ► Our mission is to commit towards preparing autonomous, bilingual and culturally aware learners for the challenges of tomorrow, and towards fostering an appreciation for learning, discovery, citizenship, creativity and leadership.

School Goals ► To enhance the acquisition and awareness of the French language and culture within our students. ► Caring, safe and inclusive schools :Ending Positive Inclusive Culture of Schools residency program. ► CPET will enter its third year implementing a Teacher Advisor System next year. ► Enhance numeracy and literacy as per our Divisional priorities.

Credit System:  Minimum of 30 credits to graduate:  These 30 credits comprise compulsory and optional courses.  14 of these courses must be instructed in French to receive the provincial immersion diploma.  23 of these courses must be instructed in French to receive the CPET diploma.  Minimum of 4 40-level courses to graduate.

  8. The suggested pattern for credit : Grade 9 = 10 credits Grade 10 = 8 credits Grade 11 = 7 credits Grade 12 = 7 credits TOTAL = 32 credits* *Students are encouraged to take more than the 30 credit requirement.

  11. High School Apprenticeship The HSAP provides an opportunity for students • to explore trades in relevant settings while completing their high school education. Students can choose from most Manitoba- • designated trades to work part-time, get paid, and have the hours count towards school credits and apprenticeship hours. Next Steps • Parents of students who are not from our feeder schools can obtain 2014-15 Program of Studies and forms following this presentation. • School of Choice applications are received in May and approval or denial are communicated in June. Additional information will be mailed out in • early August.
