All attendance must be provided in the feed both in-person and distance learning. This means that LEAs must be send positive attendance in the nightly feed. SY20-21 Entry & Exit Guidance Update There was an update to the SY20-21 Entry & Exit Guidance. • In Appendix B: Exit Codes Impacting LEA’s SEDS Roster for exit code 1942 ‘ Exited the state public school system to be home-schooled in the same state ’, ▪ Removed LEA’s responsibility of ‘Letter from OSSE Homeschool office’ ▪ Added OSSE’s responsibility of ‘The student is registered with the OSSE Homeschool office’.

DC School Report Card Technical Guide 2020 • The technical guide for the DC School Report Card and STAR Framework has been updated for 2020 and is available on the OSSE website as part of the Data and Technical Resources page . • Updates include: ▪ Explanation of the ESSA Accountability waiver for the 2019-2020 school year, which waived the calculation of STAR ratings and many of the STAR Framework metrics for the report card released in December 2020. ▪ Specifics about the data that are displayed on the 2020 Report card * NOTE: The Report Card Technical Guide pertains only to data displayed on the report card, metrics in MCC but not being displayed on the report card this year have adjusted business rules detailed in the MCC QLIK Guide available via link in the MCC QLIK app dashboard slide *

DC School Report Card – December 2020 Report Card 2020 has limited new data displayed from SY 2019-20 ▪ Profile Page: School directory information, School Programs, Message from the school, Extracurriculars, Parent Contact, Logistics, Enrollment, Physical Activity minutes ▪ Academic Performance: 4 and 5-year Grad Rate, College Enrollment rates ▪ School Environment: Teacher, School Leader, and Health Staff data Data Releases for non-Report Card data in MCC: ▪ Graduation Rate - Date to be determined – tentatively in November, ▪ Attendance metrics – released with Attendance Report – tentatively in November ▪ Re-enrollment and Mobility – data released at same time as attendance data ▪ SAT, AP/IB metrics – released post-report card release in early/mid-December ▪ Discipline data – released in conjunction with Discipline report – date TBD ▪ Alternative School only metrics – released through MCC and additional information available upon request by school
