Water is essential for life. Logo anchored by blue water that gives life to plant symbolizing growth. The plant has 10 leaves representing 10 original Member Cities that formed the District. Blue represents water – reason NTMWD was created – and first reservoir District will own and operate. Bois d’Arc tree represents history of region and creek which serves as source of new lake. Heron and boat are symbolic of the wildlife and recreation supported by the lake.
