What is an Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP)? An OCIP is a controlled insurance program that insures:

  • Sound Transit,
  • University of Washington,
  • General Contractors,
  • Enrolled Subcontractors, and
  • Other designated parties,

for Work performed at the Project Site and designated off-site activities associated with the project (if any).
