Current initiatives or programs relevant to reducing property crime

 Rapid Graffiti Removal  Program is open to properties on “key corridors”  Provides removal up to three times or $2,000 worth of service at no cost to the property

  • wner.

 We must have a signed permission slip on file (we currently have 1,571 properties that have chosen to participate)  -From April of last year thru January 2016 we have removed 311 incidences of graffiti

 CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design)  Trained Staff  Part of the Rapid Graffiti Removal Program  Part of the Crime Free Housing Program

 Community Cleanup Program  All single family and duplexes in the City eligible to participate  16 Cleanups held between April and October each year  Average attendance is over 200 households per cleanup
