  • NEWest Alliance has been announced as the successful consortium that

will deliver the Yanchep Rail Extension and the Thornlie-Cockburn Link

  • NEWest Alliance comprises of CPB Contractors and Downer
  • The NEWest Alliance will now develop their construction schedule and

prepare their local workforce ahead of contract signing this month

  • Currently at RFP stage with two shortlisted proponents

The PSUP scope includes:

  • Upgrade to the current signalling

system to enable more frequent services (15 tph or every 4 minutes in peak)

  • Upgrade to lengthen platforms to

allow operation of 6-car trains
