Strategic Initiatives

 Utilize literacy strategies to support students across all content areas, including the development of a TITAN UP (Literacy Support) Lab available to all students which will be supported by student mentors  Consistently incorporate academic readiness skills into all content areas, including goal-setting, organizational strategies, and study skills  Utilize student interests to develop a more personalized curriculum, including possible implications for teaming within the middle school setting  Utilize virtual learning to increase course offerings, small group learning, and cross campus opportunities

Strategic Initiatives

 Increase opportunities for parents to learn instructional strategies and how to support their students at home through utilizing community partners to enhance frequency and quality of parent workshops as well as increasing the opportunities, frequency, and time of day for parent conferences.  Increase EPMS representation and involvement in the Roswell community by bringing students into the community for real-life learning experiences where students may serve as ambassadors in the community.  Bring local experts into the classroom on a more frequent basis to create relevant, real-life project-based- learning experiences for the students.

Short-Term Goals

  • Increase time for

personalized learning.

  • Increase use of flexible

grouping within classrooms and among fellow teachers.

  • Increase professional

development and collaboration.

Strategic Initiatives

 Provide professional development in TAG and Project Based Learning strategies, resulting in 100% of staff being TAG certified and/or trained in Project Based Learning.  Provide community based learning experiences through local field trips and on-site experiences with local experts.  Provide additional time for personalized learning.
