Objective Preparing a good scientific presentation in accordance with scientific rules. Scope Procedures of journal presentation implementation are applied to all participants of Guest PPDS undergoing stase in Department of Radiology Faculty of Medicine, University of Brawijaya Definition

• 1. Scientific presentation is one of the tasks to be performed by the participants of guest

PPDS as a graduation requirement at Radiology department.

• 2. Scientific paper being presented is a scientific work relevant to the field of radiology

and or as directed by supervisor.

• 3. PPDS is a person actively participates in education at Radiology Study Program,

Faculty of Medicine University of Brawijaya

• 4. Scientific presentation Supervisor is a lecturer appointed to provide guidance and

direction to the scientific material presented. Referral

Outline of Procedures

• 1. Guest PPDS undergoing stase in the Department of Radiology
• 2. Supervisor of Scientific Presentation is determined by the head and the secretary of

study program (KPS and SPS)

• 3. Resident checks scientific title that has been presented in the administrative staff
• 4. Resident proposes some scientific titles to the Supervisor
• 5. Supervisor determines the title to be presented
• 6. Resident carries out scientific writing consultation to the Supervisor

• 7. Scientific work obtains approval from the Supervisor
• 8. Determining the presentation date agreed by the Supervisor and resident
• 9. Resident submits the soft copy and hard copy to the administrative staff
• 10. The administrative staff makes invitation, attendance list, and evaluation sheets
• 11. Resident distributes invitation along with scientific papers to all lecturers
• 12. On the appointed day the resident gives a presentation which is attended by teaching

staff, supervisor, and other residents

• 13. Supervisor and teaching staff who are present give an assessment
• 14. Resident submits the attendance list and evaluation sheets to the administrative staff
• 15. Administrative staff archives the document
• 16. Resident makes a report about his/her activity during stase in the Radiology division
• 17. Archiving is done by administrative staff
