Engaging Students AFTER the South Pole Outreach Events Media Outreach Bring Your Daughter or Son to Work Day Antarctica Community Night Dream, Explore, Create your own path Over 100 people of all ages came to learn about Antarctica. Co-presented with Dr. Katey Shirey (PolarTREC 2010) to 50+ elementary and middle school-aged kids and parents. IB Physics students designed and ran interactive stations about the DOM, neutrinos, ECW, and Antarctic Fun Facts. Over 400 people came to explore available career options; my colleague and I represented STEM careers.
