Total Spending on Clients Needs £213,036.69 Total Almonised £42,024.62 Actual spending of the Area £171,012.07 This relates to 821 cases over the above period. Of these cases 51 are still serving.

Age in relationship to the above cases. The two largest groups are those up to 49 with 405 cases and 70 to 89 with 149 cases.

Other Areas of support over the same Period

Benefits and Money Advice team have offered assistance to over 110 Service and ex-Service personnel and their families in 2014. Increase to benefits claimed or debt reduction during this period as a result of their work was £280,489.88 The Independent Living Advice team gave advice and support at tribunals to 21 ex-Service personnel resulting in an increase to benefits of £85,040.50. Practical help given by the Poppy Calls team in terms of small repairs and odd jobs has generated 190 interventions in the Somerset and Wiltshire Area resulting in 713 jobs throughout 2014. The Regional Outreach Adviser, working with ex-service personnel who have complex needs, gave support to 60 individuals.
