LEADERSHIP TRACY 2015 “I loved my experience with the Leadership Tracy program! As a resident of Tracy, I wanted to get more involved and find out what was happening in this community. There is so much more to Tracy than I thought! This program gave me a broad overview of the community from City Hall, to education, to private enterprise! Learning about Tracy was fun and educational! I made some wonderful friends also that I network with in the future. I am sad that it’s ending! Each class session the level of knowledge as well as passion each employee showed for their company or line or work was contagious. While Tracy has thousands who live and work here, Tracy has kept the “small town feel,” which is something that Leadership Tracy showed me. People take great pride in the community and truly want the best for their neighbors. Additionally, it was great to see a wide range of businesses and learn how they operate day after day. Each session opened my eyes to previously unconsidered challenges facing Tracy in the both the public and private sectors, and gave me a deeper appreciation for the dedicated people that have devoted themselves so completely to create the quality of life we enjoy here. LEADERSHIP TRACY 2015 “My experience with Leadership Tracy was both insightful and rewarding. The personal and professional return on investment was far greater than the time and money invested to be part of this experience. The Chamber recognized and respected City Leaders in Government, Education, Public Safety, local businesses, etc. and provided us a behind the scenes in depth look at the challenges and champions responsible for making Tracy the desired place for many to call home. The exposure and intimate conversations were insightful in understanding how our City Leaders think and process the challenges facing our City. Through Leadership Tracy, I have established new business relationships to help our business grow and a renewed interest and commitment to being an active participant in the exciting future of Tracy, the place we so proudly call “home” Education Day -Charles Williams West High School
LEADERSHIP TRACY 2015 “Leadership Tracy definitely exceeded my expectations. Not only did the program help foster new professional friendships and personal growth, it has surfaced opportunities to partner with Tracy organizations. The program has connected my organization -- the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory -- with the City of Tracy, the Grand Theater and the Tracy Unified School District, enabling us to expand our STEM (Science Technology, Engineering and Math) education program into Tracy. We are now scheduled to bring our Science on Saturday lecture series to The Grand in April 2016, and in March we will be hosting a pair of West High School Space Engineering classes on a set of daylong tours and round-tables with our scientists and engineers. “ Ag & Environment Day - Nolan O’Brien Wasterwater Treatment Plant
