ABC Award Many thanks to Mike Ryan who made our beautiful new ABC trophy. The Across the Board Championship trophy is an award presented to the KDBC players who have the highest percentage score on the ABC list. This award recogniz- es our “ C ” players who win overall in 3 stratifications— A,B and C. There must be a minimum of 5 or more tables to qualify. Both players must be KDBC members. Winners for 2016 are Larry Richardson and Ray Rothenbury with 71.19% on Sep- tember 17. Non - Life Master 70% Club Award Eight pairs made the list this year. Last year there were 12 pairs. John Dundas and Don Gardner had a great 71.25% game on November 11 only to find that they were not first since Lynda Overgaard and June Leach scored 72.08%. Connie Burns and Miriam Van Vlymen are the annual overall winners. They were the first pair to make the list in 2016 with a 73.70% on February 1, 2016. The all - time high score is held by Keith Prytulka and Tommy Doyle who had an 80% game on May 8. 2014. Open 70% 2016 Award The winners for 2016 are Jim and Greg MeKellar with a 74.43% on August 26. Kevin Loughlin made the list 4 times. The all - time leaders are Paddy and Don with 80.09% on February 27, 2013. I/N Christmas Trophy 2016 winners are Rita and Wilf Menninga.
