KAVALA
Kavala is an important port ο n the Balkan Peninsula. Neapolis Christoupolis Kavala are its historical names.
It has been inhabited since Neolithic times.
It gains great prosperity during the Macedonian after Philip II

The castle is the trade mark of the city. The fist wall was built in the 5th century b.c., to fortify the city of Neapolis.

FILIPPI During your visit to Kavala do not miss the opportunity to visit the ancient theatre of Philippi, an important monument of the region.
