Juana Escabias is a talented woman: journalist, teacher, novelist, playwright, and theater director. These have been some of her many jobs. She was born in Madrid, Spain, and finished her career as journalist in the Universidad

Complutense. She developed her talent in places

like the United Nations Organization. As a writer, she started with short stories, but soon after, she was inclined to drama. She has written more than 16 one-act plays and short monologues that have been read or performed in many places. But her duties extend beyond writing: actually she works as a theater director, a Drama Theory teacher, the founder of a Theater Company, and the President of the Theater Committee of the UNESCO Organization. Now, she has come to the United States for the first time to share her plays with us.
