Primary Student Uniform and Presentation Policy 2 Introduction Students are required to wear all aspects of the College uniform neatly and according to the published uniform regulations of the College. Personal grooming will be of a high standard at all times. Implementation Ilim College is proud of its uniform as it represents a sense of belonging to the school community. A note from a parent / caregiver is always required if a student is not in correct uniform (to cover a short period of time). The explanation must be of a reasonable nature. In some circumstances, the parent / caregiver may be contacted and the student sent home to rectify the problem. Students will receive a consequence if they attend school wearing incorrect uniform without a note from a parent / caregiver.

• Grade 5 and 6 female students have the option of wearing the long tunic style sports shirt. (If

the tunic is worn, the college skirt is not compulsory on days where students have H and PE.

• College long skirt: hems must always be intact at

ankle length.

• Upper primary female scarves must cover chest

and sleeves must not be rolled up.

• Ballerina/slipper shoes not permitted
• No make-up or nail polish is permitted
• No jewellery including rings, necklaces, bracelets

• Hair must be short, neat and all similar

length.

• There should be no use of hair products
