COST ECONOMIES OF PROJECT

  • Villagers are provided with low cost purified water

at 1/4th price (Rs 5 i.e 6 Euro Cents for a 20 litre water can)

  • Water Entrepreneurs acting as distributors get this

money to cover their transportation costs & earn revenue upto €2500-€5000 per year without any investment

  • WCL saves money spent on purchase of bottled

water from external agencies of amount €12500

The investment of €30000 has been recovered within 3 years of its operation

Through Hybrid model, WCL is not just investing in water plant but also maintaining it and is able to provide low cost purified water to villagers and also create new age water entrepreneurs who earn revenue without any investment
