Student Online Safety: During this time of unprecedented need for virtual/online instructional materials, the first consideration for use must be student safety. To that end, NAfME and NCMEA recommends:

for planning lessons for music in a blend of Face to Face and Virtual instruction. You will leave this session with resources to help you plan for school year 2020-2021!
- Presenter: Felicia Davis was a band director for 24
years who took a leap of faith to enter the Instructional Coach position at Mooresville Middle School where she works with teachers incorporating instructional best practices. Mrs. Davis creates and leads professional development for the middle school staff and at the district level for Mooresville Graded
- Schools. Mrs. Davis is a former presenter at NCTIES,
ISTE, NAfME and NCMEA.

What is Flipgrid?
Flipgrid is a website that allows teachers to create "grids" to facilitate video discussions. Each grid is like a message board where teachers can pose questions, called "topics," and their students can post video responses that appear in a tiled grid display.
