Why We Came Together
Problem Gambling & Gaming:
A Population Health Burden
- In 2016:
- 1.2% (122,000) of Ontarians experienced
moderate to severe gambling problems1
- 8.2% (859,100) of Ontarians experienced
moderate-to-severe problematic technology/electronic device use1
- Leads to poorer mental health and social
determinants of health
