Erasmus+ Programme
Erasmus+ is a European programme aiming to strengthen education, training, youth and sport in Europe, allowing more than 4 million young people to gain experience and skills by studying, training or volunteering abroad.
The actions of the Erasmus + programme are divided into decentralised actions and centralised actions.
Individuals cannot apply directly for funding, however they should speak to their organisation or school, University etc. Opportunities under the Youth Sector do exist for informal groups of young people.

EEA AND NORWAY GRANTS FOR REGIONAL COOPERATION
The Financial Mechanism Office (FMO) seeks the submission of proposals for grants for transnational projects under the EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Regional Cooperation (the Fund) The project selection will follow a two-step procedure, in which this call is the first step. Based on the assessment of submitted concept notes, shortlisted applicants may continue to the second step. Projects funded are intended to contribute towards the overall objectives of the EEA and Norway Grants:
- Reducing economic and social disparities in the European Economic Area; and
- Strengthening relations of the Donor States Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein with 15
Beneficiary States in Northern, Central and Southern Europe.
Eligible Consortia The projects supported must be regional cross-border or transnational in nature and involve multiple partners and activities in different countries. Projects shall involve entities, which must apply as a consortium, from at least three countries, including at least two Beneficiary States which are Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.
The amount of grant assistance applied for within a project shall not be less than €1
- million. There is no maximum grant amount per project.
The project consortium is required to provide project co-financing.
- Non-governmental organisations: up to 90% of their eligible expenditures (up to 50% of
the required co-financing may take the form of in-kind contributions in the form of voluntary work)
- Project partners with the status of universities and research organisations: up to 90% of
their eligible expenditures
- Any expertise partners from the Donor States: up to 100% of their eligible
expenditures
- Other entities: up to 85% of their eligible expenditures

4.1 – Sotto Miżura – Appoġġ għall-Investimenti f’Ażjendi Agrikoli
Din is-sotto miżura se tipprovdi għall-investiment fi-rziezet bil- għan li ttejjeb il-prestazzjoni globali u s-sostenibbiltà tal-ażjendi agrikoli. Din is-sotto miżura ser tappoġġja investiment f’sistemi u tagħmir kost-effettiv u ambjentalment effiċjenti mmirati lejn l- immaniġġjar tal-ħamrija, magħqad tal-ilma (water capture), l- użu tal-enerġija rinnovabbli, il-ġestjoni tal-iskart, it-titjib fl- effiċjenza fil-kontroll tal-fertilizzanti u l-pestiċidi.
It-tip ta’ Appoġġ eliġibbli taħt din is-sotto-miżura jinkludi:
- Kostruzzjoni, akkwist, anke permezz ta’ lokazzjoni (leasing),
jew titjib ta’ proprjetà immobbli (immovable property)
- Xiri jew xiri bil-kiri (lease-purchase) ta’ makkinarju u tagħmir
ġdid
- L-ispejjeż ta’ kuntratturi speċjali biex iwettqu l-ġestjoni tal-
proġett biex jitwettaq l-investiment
It-tip ta’ Appoġġ eliġibbli taħt din is-sotto-miżura jinkludi:
Spejjeż ta’ periti, inġiniera u konsultazzjoni sa massimu ta’ 15% tal-ispiża totali tal-proġett Spejjeż għall-kejl tal-ilma (water meter)

Rata ta’ Appoġġ

- Għall-proġetti li ma jaqbżux it-€300,000 (eskluża l-VAT), il-
benefiċjarju jkun intitolat għal 50% tal-ispiża totali eliġibbli tal-proġett. Fil-każ tal-proġetti li jaqbżu t-€300,000 (eskluża l-VAT), l-ammont tal-għotja massima eliġibbli se jkun €150,000 (eskluża l-VAT).
Sotto Miżura 4.4 Appoġġ għal Investimenti Mhux Produttivi Marbuta mal-Ilħuq tal- Objettivi tal-Klima Agroambjentali
L-għan ta’ din il-miżura huwa li tipprovdi għal investiment mhux rimunerattiv previst li jikkontribwixxi għall-ilħuq ta’ objettivi tal-klima agroambjentali fejn m’hemmx ritorn ekonomiku sinifikanti għal razzett jew negozju rurali ieħor minn tali azzjoni.
Sotto Miżura 4.4 – Appoġġ għal Investimenti Mhux Produttivi Marbuta mal-Ilħuq tal-Objettivi tal-Klima Agroambjentali

LOCAL DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY FOR GOZO AND COMINO
The Local Development Strategy has been prepared by the Gozo Action Group Foundation. It sets out the needs and priorities for the region
- f Gozo for the 2014-2020 funding period and
- utlines the measures proposed for funding under
the LEADER Programme.
The following are the actions identified to address the needs and
- bjectives:
- GAG1: Develop- an ICT media platform for the valorization of
Gozitan lifestyle concept
- GAG2: Maximize the contribution of Gozitan agriculture to
the Gozitan culinary tradition, its evolution and future sustainability
- GAG3: Develop Gozo’s all-season tourism product
- GAG4: Improve the attractiveness of living in Gozo for young
persons and young families
GAG1: Develop an ICT media platform for the valorization of Gozitan lifestyle concept
The creation of an ICT (and other) media platform to showcase the various aspects of the
Gozitan lifestyle which can serve as bases for sustainable development, by enabling access to business, governance and non-government organisations to media resources in an
- rganised set-up, while in itself creating a 'new economy' activity in Gozo.
Budget Allocation: €240,000 Eligible Beneficiaries: Applicants must consist of partnerships between operators in
business
- ideally
covering IT, media, tourism, environment, agriculture, manufacturing/crafts, creativity sectors - and/or representative bodies thereof, and NGOs. Participation from Local Councils, educational institutions, and other representative bodies within the partnerships would also be desirable.
GAG2: Maximize the contribution of Gozitan agriculture to the Gozitan culinary tradition, its evolution and future sustainability
The creation of projects involving Gozitan agriculture and food produced and/or
consumed in Gozo in a manner which sustains the appreciation and evolution of the Gozitan culinary tradition, generates better economic value added in Gozitan agriculture and food production, and which benefits the health of consumers.
Budget Allocation: €390,000 Eligible Beneficiaries: Applicants must include partnerships between operators in
agriculture, agri-producers and/or catering, and/or representative bodies thereof. Participation from NGOs (mainly related to culinary arts/research, tourism, consumers' interest, sustainable agriculture, etc.), Local Councils and educational/research institutions with a direct interest in Gozitan culinary traditions would also be desirable.
GAG3: Develop Gozo’s all-season tourism product offering
Investment in infrastructure and innovative events which will in a
complementary manner strengthen Gozo's tourism offering so as to enhance performance across all seasons, in a sustainable manner.
Budget Allocation: €390,000 Eligible Beneficiaries: Applicants must include partnerships between
business operators with a direct interest in tourism and/or representative bodies thereof, Local Councils and/or other public governance entities with a direct interest in the Gozo region, and NGOs.
GAG4: Improve the attractiveness of living in Gozo for young persons and young families
The action will improve amenities and services in Gozo so as to improve the quality of
life for young persons and young families, thereby contributing to retaining skills and to demographic and cultural regeneration.
Budget Allocation: €390,000 Eligible Beneficiaries: Applicants can be Local Councils, NGOs and business operators.
Each applicant must consist of at least three entities, spanning at least two of the aforementioned categories. The applicant has to co-operate with at least two other
- partners. A lead partner should 96 also be appointed who shall be considered as the
project applicant. The application shall clearly specify the role to be played by the applicant and the project partners.
