What’s the purpose of the TURNKEY RETROFIT project

To give the homeowner a pleasant experience in their renovation journey from start to finish. We’ll do this by developing a digital platform to guide energy retrofit and provide easy to understand information and tools so that customers can find

  • ut what to do online and be energy retrofit ready.

Some definitions

Bricks

In the Turnkey Retrofit project, bricks refer to digital building blocks that will interface with existing businesses’ websites and create more functionalities to assist the customer on their journey. Bricks could be likened to plug ins - used in software programs to support specific features or functionality. For e.g. Punch diagram and Smartdiagram

One stop shop

  • A service that provides a range of information, best

practice, actions and services in one place for a customer friendly approach.

  • As

well as an end to end management and coordination of renovation works through one point

  • f contact with a guarantee of quality;
  • And a tailor-made solution for the customer.
  • Financing may or may not be part of it.

On the Irish platform it’s something we’d like to have.

slide-27
SLIDE 27

Punch Diag Is a type of brick that can be used to let the homeowner interact with a picture of a house and “punch in” information about their home

4 - Presentation of the French prototype

Some definitions

Smartdiag Is a type of brick that can be used to identify the best retrofit roadmap for the homeowner based on energy assessment. It provides an overall scoring [similar to an EPC] and three road maps with energy costs and list of works. The 3 road maps define the scope of works “ initial”, “intermediate” and “complete”. The smartdiag links the homeowner’s address and external data such as climatic info, cadastral map plus technical aspects of the materials and construction of the house to complete an overall thermal model of the house. Actors Refers to the energy retrofit businesses, contractors, suppliers and trusted advisors
