Special Assessments • Funding Sources • City Code Chapters 12 and 13 • Distribute costs on a fair share basis to the properties that benefit from the improvements • Affects property owners with frontage directly along the sidewalk alignment • 4 City Council Resolutions, Administrative Hearing, Public Hearing • Approximate cost per Linear Foot of frontage ~ $40 to $60
