CDE monitoring is accomplished in part through the Federal Program Monitoring (FPM) process which is comprised of an onsite or an online review. FPM is: q Valida=on of expenditures q Showcasing CTE programs A FPM onsite visit consists of data and document review, stakeholders’ interviews, and classroom

The California department of educa=on (CDE) is required to monitor the implementa=on of categorical programs

  • perated by local educa=onal agencies. Every two years,

CDE conducts either an on-site or an online monitoring of Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) through the FPM process. An on-site FPM review will be conducted in the 20 16-20 17 school year. The review is scheduled for February 6, 2017 through February 24, 2017. CDE has iden=fied the programs for review and the list of schools that will receive onsite visits and be required to submit evidence of program compliance.
