  • 1. Analyze support brackets mounted to exterior of a pressure vessel.
  • 2. Begin with a breakout orthogrid panel section and utilize enforced

displacements to simulate the internal pressure.

  • 3. Mid-surface the bracket geometry and mesh the bracket mid-surfaces.
  • 4. Model the various connections between the brackets and the orthogrid

panel.

  • 5. Define the boundary conditions, enforced displacements, and loads, and

use data surface to create load set combinations.
