- Instructions to Design Teams (NOT contractors)
- Clarification of standard campus practices, information for connections to
infrastructure, required minimums & design intentions… Standards are NOT…
- Contract Specifications (but may be basis for design team’s specifications)
- Cornell’s design for contractors (rather they inform and set minimal
standards for the design team to create their own design)

- Show expectations for level of design
- Clarify how certain standards are to be applied (example: controls)

- All applicable to every project (use only ones applicable)
- Suitable for simple “cut-and-paste” (without designer’s review and

responsible for all final design!
