Boathouse Fee



95% of HPRA budget is funded by “boathouse fee”



FDR Boathouse Fee: Novice Rowers $450 Varsity Rowers $500



Payment schedule, if preferred – installment plan with 3 payments



Payment #1: $50 at parent meeting (registration fee)



Payment #2: Due March 28th



Payment #3: Due April 17th Varsity $225 per payment Novice $200 per payment



Payment by check made payable to HPRA



Payment placed in an envelope, can be placed in the lock box within the FDR bay at boathouse (DO NOT PUT UNSECURED CASH IN THE LOCK BOX). If leaving CASH, put in and envelope w/ rowers name and purpose of payment



To minimize your out of pocket cost:



Profits received from the Flower Sale and Sponsor T-Shirt will go directly to Boathouse fee.



If your individual profit exceeds the cost of the Boathouse fee, it will be applied toward charges for hotels for away races

DO NOT KEEP ANY OF THE MONEY FROM THE FLOWER SALE. THE PROFIT WILL BE CALCULATED AFTER ALL ORDERS & MONEY HAS BEEN COLLECTED

Create Teams of 4 members with a maximum of 2 rowers to make the journey from FDR HS to the Hudson river while participating in challenges along the way Each team is responsible for providing their own driver who is older than 25. You will need to wear weather appropriate practice clothes and running shoes. $10/Participant as well as 10 clear empty bottles to be collected at registration on the day of the event Prizes will be awarded to those teams completing the Race to the River in the fastest time!!! Hotel and Uniform Information

Rowers will receive an envelope for hotel and food payments for away races . Payment is due prior to race

• day. Amount and due date will be on the envelope – this must be paid in order to travel.

Uniforms

• Uniforms are require to race; all rowers/coxswains must wear same style uniforms
• Varsity – must order online through team store
• Novice – one t-shirt is included in registration fee, rowing shorts need to be purchased

separately

• Uniforms take 6-8 weeks to process & ship. In order for rowers to be in uniform for the racing

season ALL orders must be made on team store by midnight, March 3 (orders placed after March 3 will be treated as individual orders and not guaranteed to arrive before the first race).
