Why use Meraki? • Maintain a high level of data security (complex passcodes) and consistency across CEC establishments • Asset management (purchased apps and devices) • Remotely deploy apps

How do I install Meraki on an iPad? • Install Meraki app • Systems Manager > Add devices • Enrollment code (network ID)

How do I identify an iPad on Meraki? • Tagging • Naming iPads - wireless code, owners/ notes

How do I get asset information from Meraki? • Press + • Choose desired fields • Press CSV • Save and open in excel

How do I change the restrictions and passcodes on Meraki? • Systems Manager > Settings • Set restrictions and passwords • Don't delete managed settings • Recommended settings for staff and students can be found on our blog: digitallearningteam.org • N.B. 8-digit alphanumeric passcodes are recommended for both staff and pupils

How can I push out apps bought using VPP? • Systems Manager > Apps > Add new > iOS app • Search for app or lookup by ID • Select app (ignore $ price) • Select scope (all devices or specific tags) • Copy and paste VPP redemption codes from completed order • Apps will be deployed when iPad next has live internet connection. Sometimes faster to go to Meraki app and check for any missing apps

How do I add a Network Admin? • Systems Manager > General • Under Network Admins select Create New User. Send email invite to school email address. • Maximum of 3 recommended
