Why are we here today?

• The challenge: supporting migrant entrepreneurs
• All EU countries face a challenge of work place

integration – entrepreneurship can be a way of supporting yourself

• Need for targeted job-preparation and orientation

assistance for migrants

• Barriers: access to finance and support, language,

limited business, management/marketing skills,

• ver-concentration in some business areas.

The proposed solution:

• A more qualified selection of who becomes an

entrepreneur

• Strengthening the skills needed
• Reduce risk of failing with the business endeavour

• By introducing a training model that:

– Measures the competencies and mindset – Provides possibilities for developing competencies – Trains and tests the skills in a controlled environment – Gives recognition of competencies

Test and certification

• A test for each scenario/topic of the units of the

training materials

• 10-12 questions per test
• Questions developed to match the learning
• utcomes of each unit/scenario
• Each test certified with at badge (with a score

above 75 % correct)
