Executive Summary

Objective : Our objective is to obtain 50% of the funds needed to complete the 2nd of our Radiant Retreat properties, Radiant Retreats resort in JandaBaik. This amounts to RM1.8 million. Company : Radiant Retreats is a hospitality chain of boutique home stays and resorts targeted at the healthcare traveler and the wellness

  • traveler. Radiant Retreats Shah Alam (homestay) will be running by

December 2012, JandaBaik (resort) by June 2013, Iskandar (homestay) by June 2014 and Mersing (resort) by June 2015. Product / Service : Radiant Retreats pairs up with specialists in the leading private hospitals in Malaysia, to provide healthcare travelers with end-to-end service, including consultation, hosting, surgery, recuperation, aesthetics and wellness programs. Our resorts also have secondary targets of corporate and family events.

Competitors

  • There is little direct competition for Radiant Retreats in JandaBaik, and

much opportunity for cooperation.

– Most existing resorts are 3 stars or less, including Cheringin, Suria Hill Homes and Seri Pengantin. They also have fewer on-site activities for guests. – Only Saufiville and AmanRimba are 4 star and above.

  • Saufiville is very charming, but is relatively small (6 rooms, of which only 2

are en-suite) and they are always full. We are likely to be able to co- promote with Saufiville to boost capacity.

  • AmanRimba is high end, but is only rented out as a whole estate at one

time, and as such has a very niche target market. We foresee cooperating with AmanRimba to bring their visitors to Radiant Retreats for activities, spa and tours.

  • Given high demand for accommodation in JandaBaik (the region is

booked-up on most weekends), and the uniqueness of our offerings, we foresee being able to co-exist in a synergistic, win-win arrangement with
