SHIP 2018 - 2023 What is the SHIP • The SHIP sets out the new affordable housing priorities for the next 5 years • It covers the period 2018/19 to 2022/23 • It complies with the Local Housing Strategy • The SHIP takes account of the funding resources made available by the Scottish Govt (AHSP) • Submission to Scot Govt by 27 October 2017. 3

SHIP 2018 - 2023 Purpose • Develop actions contained in the LHS for the delivery of new build housing grants to Council and HAs • How to achieve with available resources –and focus on prioritisation and deliverability • Focus on partnership working and results from a “call for sites” process • SHIP now back to annual. 4
